This course is for you if you feel you should know more about mental fitness and resilience. Perhaps you’ve been affected by poor mental health, whether that’s your own, or the mental health of someone you love, live with, or work with.
We could all do with being better equipped to spot the signs of poor mental health, gaining the confidence and skills to have conversations about mental health, and learning new skills to help us cope with modern life and become more resilient.
In this live, online course, you will gain vital life skills to recognise the signs of poor mental health in you others, and the confidence to have open and honest conversations about mental health. Take time to assess your own mental fitness, and go on to learn relaxation, mindfulness, and wellbeing tips to help you become more resilient.
Includes participation in a guided meditation and breathing exercises to enable a sense of calm. Topics covered include: stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, self harm, suicide, psychosis, mindfulness, meditation, sleep, exercise, nutrition, emotional intelligence, living with someone with poor mental health, and more!
The course includes a section about suicide awareness – how to spot the signs, how to get or give help, and how to talk to a loved one if you, or they, feel suicidal.
