The following applies to courses purchased via Reed.co.uk:

Under this policy, you may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 14 calendar days from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded. This is called a “Cancellation Period”. Note that if you redeem your voucher during the Cancellation Period, you expressly request us to begin providing the course materials and you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel the purchase of the course and get any refund for it.

If you cancel the purchase of a course within 14 calendar days as mentioned above, we will refund you for all payments made as a part of your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day we accept that you are entitled to a refund.

Argent Advancements are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. You can visit our website freely without having to register or subscribe for services.

Who we are:

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the 2018 GDPR regulations, Argent Advancements will be the Controller of the data you provide. We are at 15B Thornhill, North Weald, Essex, CM16 6DN, U.K.

Why we need your data:

We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with the services you require. We will not collect any personal data outside of the data we require to provide and oversee this service to you. This may include providing quotations for services, responding to enquiries over telephone or email, or through the contact form on this website. We require your data to administer your requirements. This might include: providing course certificates, providing login details for our online course portal, allowing invoices to be raised, and to confirm training took place and validity of course certificates if requested to do so by aviation regulators, employment agencies and/or other employers you may engage with. We keep your data for internal record keeping, satisfying regulator and government requirements such as for taxation purposes.

What we do with your data:

We will never sell your personal data. Your data is not shared with any third parties unless for the reasons stated above, or because the law requires us to share information about you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a username and/or password which enables you to access our online courses, you are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential and securely l. We request you not to share your username or password with anyone.

We currently do not send out mailshots or email marketing campaigns, but if we choose to do so in the future we shall contact you to ask your consent to be included on any mailing lists.
